Privacy Policy
Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how iShootNYC collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through this website, its Contact form, and content-delivery features.
Information we collect
When you submit the Contact form, we collect the inquiry type, your full name, email address, phone number, requested service type, and any preferred date or message you choose to provide. Medical/Healthcare inquiries are for photography and production services only. Please do not include patient-identifying information, medical records, or other sensitive health information in your message.
If you become or are a client, we may also maintain business records such as your name, contact information, service type, project date, project notes, delivery information, and information needed to provide agreed services.
When we provide authorized access to content, we may maintain recipient or client contact information, applicable expiration or access limits, and usage information needed to deliver and protect that content.
Information collected automatically
We use first-party analytics to understand how the site is used. Depending on the interaction, we may collect an event type, page path, an analytics session identifier, page-view and event identifiers, active engagement time, CTA identifier, CTA link or limited CTA text, referrer hostname, browser user agent, acquisition parameters such as UTM values, and country, region, or city derived from hosting-provider request headers.
Contact-submission analytics records that a submission occurred and may include the inquiry context and requested service type. It does not include the submitted name, email address, phone number, or message.
For security, abuse prevention, and analytics, we may derive limited identifiers from request information such as an IP address. These identifiers are used to recognize activity without storing the raw IP address in the analytics-event table.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; communicate about photography, video, and production services; manage client relationships and projects; provide authorized access to content and requested files; measure site performance and engagement; maintain security; prevent abuse; troubleshoot problems; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not currently use the Contact form as a mailing-list or marketing-subscription form.
How information is shared
We may share information with service providers that help us host and operate the website, store and process data, deliver transactional email, provide authorized content, and display embedded media or location features.
These providers receive information reasonably necessary to perform services on our behalf and may process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use third-party advertising pixels or behavioral-profiling networks.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site may use cookies, session storage, or local storage to maintain sessions, remember certain preferences, support site functionality, and measure site usage.
We may collect limited information about how site features are accessed or used for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and analytics.
Embedded media or location features may receive information or use technologies controlled by their providers and the visitor’s browser.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining business and security records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations.
Technical expirations may apply to sessions and time-limited access. Expiration of access does not necessarily delete related business, security, or operational records. The current system does not define automatic retention periods for Contact submissions, email logs, analytics events, activity logs, or client records.
Data security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, row-level database policies, rate limiting, trusted server endpoints, production secure-cookie settings, security headers, and time-limited file access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices and rights
You may clear cookies, session storage, or local storage through your browser. Doing so may sign you out, reset preferences, or require you to authenticate again.
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights regarding your personal information. These may include requesting access, correction, deletion, a copy or portability, or objecting to or limiting certain processing where applicable. We may need to verify a request before acting on it, and some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

Third-party links and embedded content
The site may link to external websites or display embedded media or location content. Those services operate under their own practices. This Policy does not control third-party websites or services.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy when the site, our services, or applicable requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
